As you are sexually active, if I were your doctor, after clinically examining you, I would have recorded your blood pressure, advised you for some routine tests like a complete blood count, a blood sugar, a serum HCG test to rule out pregnancy, and an ultrasound abdomen to rule out any other intra abdominal problems. I would not hesitate to do a vaginal swab culture and sensitivity test to rule out a pelvic infection due to your history of bleeding. If all the investigations including the physical examination by me comes out to be negative, I would refer you to a Gynaecologist for an opinion.
