What Causes Discomfort Near The Pelvic Area?

Question: I am experiencing great discomfort in an area above my pelvis for about 3in and maybe 8-10 in wide. Very sore if cough, run, turn or try to get up from laying down. I have had this for 2+ weeks. I have had hernias on both sides, but nothing like this in my middrift.
Actually it is more at the pelvic area when I hone in on the discomfort
No lumps/bulges like a normal hernia on elite side
Where/when do I see your final report?

Brief Answer:
It could be Urinary tract infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Pain in the pelvis area could be due to infection of the urinary tract, particularly Urinary bladder.
Next possibility is Hernia. If bowel or omental fat is blocked in the hernial sac, there will be discomfort.
Bulge will not be seen on lying down posture in many people.
Please drink plenty of water.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue.
Please consult your doctor and get an Ultrasound abdomen.Treatment depends on the diagnosis.
Please take bed rest.Dont strain your muscles.
Till then, you can take anti spasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine twice daily.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
