What Causes Discomfort Under Ribs When I Move Abdomen Muscles?
Question: When I move my abdomen muscles I can feel a squish like feeling under my left rib.
Even when I move a certain way I can make my rib make this squish feeling.
I have had chest xray and clear
ultra sounds x 2 nothing found
went to see a specialist and they felt it was a buildup in colon and may be a little trapped gas.
the specialist did not feel the need to investigate further...
some days I feel nothing...some days it is all I can feel.

Brief Answer:
I agree with the doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. I think I can help you.
I agree completely with the doctor that thus is probably just the movement of bowel content that you feel.
The fact that sometime you feel it and sometimes you don't proves it.
When the bowel is full you feel it when it's empty you don't feel it.
It's nothing to worry about.
If there was something significant it would be felt continuously.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
