What Causes Discomfort Under Right Breast Bone Despite Having Normal Ultrasound?
Question: I had many symptoms of a Gall Bladder attack, nausea, heartburn, shoulder/blade pain..my ultra sound came back normal for GB, Liver and pancreas..done with a 12 hr fast.....as did all my blood work..I feel a bulge internally under the right breast bone...I cannot feel any lump or bulge on the outside..it causes no pain,just discomfort..any ideas as to what this could be???

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain or discomfort in right hypochondrium with gallbladder and pancreatic profile and blood work up all clear is likely a gastric discomfort secondary to inflammation AKA gastritis.
NSAIDs painkillers use, drinking or eating spicy or fatty food etc are the commonest cause of these pains. I would suggest some home remedies like small frequent meals, avoiding spices, irritants, caffeine, tea, smoking , drinking etc. Drinking plenty of fluids and cold milk helps. Some gastric motility enhancement medications also help.
Also take some pepto and antispasmodics easily available over the counter . I am sure the pain will relieve. If the symptoms persists get a gastroenterological evaluation for further management.
