Brief Answer:
You need shoe modification

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I think this deformity of second toe is due to wrong shoe or arthritis. Since you are saying that you have recently seen this so I think it is mostly due to shoe. I have following suggestions.
1. Get x ray to see if there is any abnormalities in bone.
2. wear wide open shoes.
3.Wear a block between first and second toe. These are available at medical store. It will increase space between first and second toe and push second toe in normal position.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
