Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
I feel concerned for the phase of emotional and physical trauma you have been through.
However, with the background of severe anxiety, responding to clonazepam(and yourself being off clonazepam for 6 months),I suggest you to please start clonazepam therapy again for the time being.Simultaneously, please start doing regular dedicated mental relaxation exercises like meditation or yoga.I am sure you'll show benefit in your symptoms.
Your dizziness appears to be a result of severe anxiety. So,management of anxiety should improve the dizziness.
Besides,I would like to know whether you have ever got any evaluation done for dizziness like-
1)Standing and supine blood pressure(for postural hypotension)
2)Electrocardiogram(ECG) -as you mentioned that you often have tachycardia, pulse rate increased up to 200/min.
3)Blood sugar
I would also like to know whether you are also having some other disease besides anxiety?Any past medical history?
If you have any further queries,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
