Question: My daughter called to tell me she has brain cancer. I don't know what kind, but she mentioned it was the receptors. What is your first impression? She was having dizziness, dbl vision, and just an overall bad feeling.

Thank you for your opinion. I know she's had an MRI, they are doing more tests today and she is seeing a neurologist. So I should know more soon. If it's not operable, she says she won't take chemo, how long might she have w/o anymore info.

It also depends whether it is primary brain tumor or metastasis from other organ of body.
Some tumors are completely operable without any recurrence and some may have poor prognosis with all available treatment modalities.
