What Causes Dizziness And Dull Pain In Chest?

Question: A month ago, I had a positive ANA test. Can't see a rheumatologist till March. A week ago experienced dizziness and left leg was numb. Also, sharp pain in back, for a few seconds. Went to urgent care, had a catscan, which turned out normal. (Forgot to tell the dr. about the pain) Now I have some dull aches in middle of chest or in my back. Can't see my doctor for a few days. I've read that positive ANA indicates that my immune system is killing my good proteins. Am worried about a heart attack. Any advice you can give me now is appreciated. I'm 65, not overweight, walk and workout, eat right.
Brief Answer:
could be heart issues
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
I understand your concern. The symptoms you described that is of dizziness and dull pain in chest could be signs of a heart disease.Or else it could just be gas problems.
I would suggest you to go for an Electrocardiogram and rule out any cardiac disease. You can take pantoprazole or esmoprazole for a week to get some relief in the morning empty stomach.
Yes ANA kills your own body proteins, but that depends on how much antinuclear antibody your body has.You should right now focus on you boosting your health and immunity.
See a Rheumatologist whenever possible.Feel free to ask more.
Hope this helps.
