Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on CHM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that the actual complaints (dizziness, flush) seem to be directly related to hypertension.

A value of 179/119 mmHg is considered an extremely high BP especially the diastolic value (119 mmHg), posing a serious risk for potential complications (cerebral hemorrhage, cardiac ischemia or end-organ injury [kidneys, retina, lungs, etc.]).

Coming to this point and without any clear evidence of a similar previous hypertension history or other co-morbidity, I would advise you to ask medical assistance to the nearest ER service in your living area.

A careful medical check up, including BP monitoring, resting ECG, mental status examination, some lab tests, like complete blood count, liver and renal function tests, blood electrolytes level, blood glucose level, etc. are necessary to properly and timely administer the right medical therapy to control abnormally high BP and avoid adverse consequences.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
