What Causes Dizziness And Pain Near Kidney Area After Taking Statin Drug?

Wait to discuss with your doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic.
Statins have many side effects and the dizziness and pain may be secondary to your statin. If this is the case then they may settle down over the next week. There are a number or statins available with varying side effects.
I suggest you continue taking your current statin and wait until Tuesday to discuss your symptoms with your doctor. Your doctor will probably have a favoured statin but will be able to offer an alternative to try to see if it better suits you.
I hope this is of help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Carry on taking statin and discuss with you doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If these side effects are due to your statin, they may settle whilst continuing on the statin so I suggest you carry on taking the statin and see how you feel when you see your doctor. If you are still experiencing the dizziness and pain then your doctor may be able to suggest an equally effective alternative to try.
Regards,
