What Causes Dizziness And Tingling On The Tip Of Tongue?

default
Posted on Sat, 7 Jun 2014
Question: Hi, I'm a 31 year old male. For a year and a half I've been walking around in what can only be described as a drunk feeling. Yes I do drink in the evening. Typically only 2 or so. I've had 3 blood tests and a ct scan on my chest. Everything came back ok. I have a slight tingling on the tip of my tongue and light sensitivity. I take Xanax almost on a daily basis and feel slightly better but not great. Had these feeling before taking any Medes. Disoriented, and concentration is poor. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Dizziness to be investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Walking like feeling drunk is a common symptom of cerebellar dysfunction. There could be multiple causes for the same like inflammation or trauma or nutritional deficiencies. It would be wise to get a MR scan of the brain ones with contrast. Also it would be wise to get the B12 levels examined ones as many times low B12 levels can lead to such a problem. I would suggest you to forward me the investigations reports that you have got down so that I get a better picture of what you have been investigated for.
