What Causes Dizziness And Tiredness After Taking Clonazepam?

Question: Ive been taking .05 mg tablet of Clonazepam for 5 days, then 1/2 tablet for 2 days... and over all the day I am feeling increasingly light headed, weary, tired. I am traveling for 8 more days, on vacation, and have not been able to reach my regular doctor. Is is advisable for me to stop the drug for a few days to see if I overcome some of the symptoms?? XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
Clonazepam & related symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Clonazepam is an anxiolytics and it causes drowsiness, fatigue, tiredness, muscular hypotonia and many other side effects .
This is also effective as an anxiolytics and prescribed for many diseases as tension, anxiety , insomnia fits epilepsy.
As you mentioned that you are taking 0.05 mg ( perhaps this is 0.5 mg ) for 5 days then 1/2 for 2 days .
You are having these symptoms (lightheaded, weary, tiredness), you are already reduced the dosage so you can stop this drug without any side effect or after effect because already dose is minimum and tapered .
Good luck.
