What Causes Dizziness, Blurred Vision, Nasal Bleeding And Headaches?
Clarifications requested
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.
Your symptoms would lead me to primarily rule out eye, cardiovascular and neurological problems.
Would you clarify a few things for me, please?
*what is your height and weight?
*have you had any Injuries to your head or neck?
*do you have any other medical issues or take any medications?
*do you smoke consume alcohol?
*any family history of diabetes, cardiovascular, neurological disorders?
*do you have vomiting, nausea?
*have you ever passed out or lost balance?
*any ringing in the ears?
*any changes in hearing?
I recommend :
- a physician consult, neurological and cardiovascular opinion of required.
-an ophthalmologist opinion to check for eye disorders.
-MRI of the head (including sinuses) and neck.
-blood tests (complete blood count, Thyroid stimulating hormone, liver and kidney function tests, lipid profile, blood sugar levels)
-electrocardiogram and echocardiogram.
Based on this, we can arrive at a diagnosis.
In the meantime,
-stay well hydrated (unless medically contraindicated)
-avoid sudden changes in head position (bending, turning)
-while sitting from a lying down position, turn to your left and get up gradually. (over 30 seconds).
Please get back to me the above requested information. If you done any recent blood work, let me know about those results as well.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
