What Causes Dizziness During Workouts?

Question: I'm feeling slightly dizzy while doing light to moderate exercise (fast walking 2+ miles). Im pretty sure Im adequately hydrated. Is this normal?
I had a stress test 6 months ago and was told my heart is fine. I am a 34 year old male and my cholesterol his high (LDL -171 HDL -44).
My Primary Care Physician keeps telling me I'm fine and everything I'm feeling is the effects of anxiety.
I know it's tough to diagnose anything based on all of this, but can you provide any counsel?

Brief Answer:
It is normal. No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
It is not unusual to feel some amount of dizziness during such activities. It so happens that during moderate exercise, the demand for blood supply increases over the muscles and other parts of the body. In such a scenario the blood supply to the brain might be inadequate making you feel dizzy. In such a case, increased amount of hydration and rest should help in resolving the problem. I would not really consider it to be a cause of concern.
Hope that helps. Feel free to write back in case of further queries.
