Hello Annmarie,
Welcome on HCM!
I passed carefully through your medical history and would like to explain that, though some features like periodic appearance is not so characteristic, I would recommend you to discuss with your attending doctor on the possibility of a carcinoid syndrome, a neuro-endocrine tumor producing serotonin and other vaso-active amines (responsible for most of your actual symptomatology).
Special test should be done, including dosing of blood serotonine level, as well as histamine, catecholamines, 5-hydroxyindolacetic acid; and several imagine studies.
I believe that a thorough and careful clinical investigation would bring the expected results.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further questions feel free to ask me again.
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri

I will take the advice and will make an appointment with my doctor
You are welcome!
