Question: Hi my sister was diagnosed with Ms 2yrs ago n recently I've been thinking I mite have it over the last few yrs I keep getting dizzy heads n list headed n the doctors never really said why I wud be very stiff 2 my body wud hard to move at times knees n my back,I drop things 2 n wud be very tired at times wat do u think does it sound like I have it? This has being going on for yrs n i never related them to Ms.

I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

Your symptoms apparently don't point towards MS. Symptoms appear to be non-specific. It would be better to get a neurological examination done during the periods of intermittent stiffness. A neurological abnormality during that period may provide clue to the diagnosis.EEG may be done to see if there are any abnormal electrical discharges in the brain. Further, routine blood work and a postural assessment of Blood pressure drop would be advisable.
