What Causes Dizziness, Panic Attacks And Breathlessness?
Question: I have been recently feeling dizzy and yesterday, whilst driving, the sun seemed to be making everything intolerably bright. I am under a fair bit of stress; have suffered from panic attacks and shortness of breath. I am on medication for high blood pressure and on antidepressants. Brief Answer:
Blood tests and blood pressure monitoring needed.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for the clarifications.
In this case, most probably your symptoms are caused by changes in blood pressure values.
There is need to have a blood pressure monitoring five days/ three times a day to have a better evaluation of blood pressure changes.
Only one Iron tablet doesn't make any changes, but since you feel better, blood tests about complete cell count, iron level, hemoglobin level should be done to evaluate anemia as another possible condition that may cause your symptoms.
These issues should be discussed with your primary care Doctor.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Take care.
