What Causes Dizziness, Sneezing, Constant Headache Along With Anxiety?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Ive been prone to anxiety, however three days ago I was greatly dizzy for 20 minutes after standing up from stretching on the floor. I had been sneezing often for a week and thought It could be a sinus infection. 3 hours after this episode I had what I would describe as similar to an anxiety attack, The difference being a continued headache, and the left side of my face feel warm or different. I went to an appointment I had made for my shoulder and they said I had swollen glands under my chin and was given Amoxicillin and loratadine (possible Allergy) I continued to feel the uncomfortable in the head, like im in a drum..partially disoriented ...this came and went. seams better sitting and sometimes worse standing. Later last night I just didn't feel right still and went to the emergency room. EGK was fine, Blood works pointed to no event. Dr gave me LORazepam for anxiety but to day I have still felt Off uncomfortable in the chest, Neck and left side of the face. My breathing is unobstructed, but on occastion I feel like I've hyperventilated. I would have thought the head pressure, If an Infection would have abated by now... Im to the point of going to the hospital and not leaving till they figure this out.

Brief Answer:
Panic disorder it is
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the details.
The condition that you are having is basically panic attacks. This is a disorder of anxiety and occurs cause of imbalance of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. especially serotonin, nor adrenaline, and dopamine to some extent. Medicines are the best options to take care of these symptoms. Paroxetine is the the most popular medicine and my drug of choice. I generally prescribe my patients 12.5 mg per day at night which takes care of anxiety symptoms. Also certain medicines like propranolol and clonazepam can be give as required when there is a panic episode or expected situation where panic attack can appear.
Also there is an option of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). This therapy is taken by either a psychologist or a psychiatrist in which the therapist identifies impaired cognitions (Thoughts) and try to correct them. They are 15-20 min weekly session and there should be around 8-10 sessions to help you with your illness.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
