What Causes Dizziness Upon Waking Up?

Question: I was diagnosed with the last Friday; this morning I woke up extremely dizzy; is that anything to be concerned about ?

my question left out the diagnosis on Friday of the flu

Dizziness is common in flu, and may persist for a few days. It should go away with adequate hydration, rest and food. Try to take plenty of fluids and I hope that this will improve.
If symptoms persists even then, you may visit a physician for examination.
