What Causes Dizziness When Diagnosed With Food Poisoning?
This is a follow up question to original suspected food poisoning diagnosed last Friday. I have felt much better since but was wondering if my experiencing slight dizziness in the morning is a lingering thing or something else. Here's a brief history, Last Sunday I woke up again with dizziness (spinning room), not as bad as initial Friday experience but without nauseous feeling. Didn't feel like eating though. Tuesday and today(Thursday), woke up to slight dizziness but could get up right away and walk with slight wobbling. While prior, I needed to lie in bed for a minute to orient myself before getting up. Usually in the mornings I still feel a little dizzy or on the verge of get hit with an episode of a more severe, heavy feeling onset dizziness. But I been ignoring it as just a passing thing and get on with my day.
I haven't mentioned before but I do use a CPAP due to sleep apnea for about 1 1/2 years now. Not sure if related to recent dizziness (e.g insufficient oxygen to brain)

Too early to be sure about the cause of your symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back XXXXXXX and thanks for being on HCM.
It is too early to be sure about the true cause of your dizziness, since the culprit was suspected food poisoning.
Other conditions to consider as possible causes of your symptoms, if they will persist in the following days are vestibulitis (or viral infection of the inner ear), changes in blood pressure and electrolytes imbalances.
It is necessary to get well hydrated and a balanced diet for few days in order to understand if food poisoning was the only cause of your symptoms.
If no improvement of dizziness in few days, above mentioned conditions should be considered and evaluated further by your primary care Doctor and by appropriate tests.
Hope I helped you.
Take care.
