What Causes Dizziness When I Stand Up While Suffering From Migraine?

Question: I have had a migraine, behind my left eye to the top of my scalp for two days. also left side of my neck and left arm is hurting ( feels weak) when I stand up I am dizzy and feet tingling like stepping on needles.

I read your question and i understand your concern. I believe the workup is required is dr S XXXXXXX very well mentioned. Dizziness and migraines may be accompanied and they may last for a couple of days too. The only thing which is worrisome here is weakness of extremity and that may indicate or point to a hypoxic or ischemic brain injury irrespective of the cause most likely in middle cerebral artery as per the location you mentioned.

You should get to ER and get your brain scans to rule out any ischemia or stroke. Once ruled out, managing migraine would be a piece of cake.
