Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As you correctly determined , it is possible that the dizziness may be related to your blood pressure medication though there are other possible causes as well especially if you are typically known for sudden drops in blood pressure.

The dizziness could be linked to your cold which is possibly affecting your ears or sinuses. Colds can affect any aspect of the ears, nose and throat as well as the airways.
The ears play a large role in balance so a direct effect on the ears, or indirect through sinus issues can cause dizziness.

It can also be related to fluid intake or medications that you may be using to help with the cold.

If it repeats, then you would need to be assessed by your doctor. This would involve BP and pulse measurement, assessment of fluid status, examination of ears/nose/throat.
Review of all traditional or over the counter medications would also be needed.

Treatment would depend on the cause found

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
