What Causes Dizziness While On Stamlo Beta?

Question: Hi...I have been on stamlo beta for a year. Of recent, my pulse rate is 40. Is this something that needs attention.
Brief Answer:
Yes, certainly needs attention
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You need to reduce or eliminate the beta component of stamlo beta which is atenolol. So need to stop Tab Stamlo beta and start only Tab Stamlo 5 mg. This much slow pulse rate may result in heart block and may lead to dizziness or syncope.
If bp is not controlled below 140/90 on plain stamlo then we can increase the dose to 10 mg once a day.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
