Brief Answer:
dehydration?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

this is fairly common after infections particularly the most serious of them. Sometimes the cause is dehydration (not enough water in the body) caused by increased water losses (fever and sweating) and decreased water intake (the water may taste bitter or the thirst drive may be low). In other cases it is just the effect of the infection itself which should wear off within a few days.

If the symptoms are serious enough then a visit to your primary care physician might be useful. Otherwise you should just wait for a few days until it gets better.

Kind Regards!
