By dizziness do you mean you feel like falling down or do you feel like moving in the absence of real movement. Many people can confuse dizziness with vertigo.
Do you have itching, crusting or watering in the eyes.
Is this the first such episode or has this occured before
Have you checked your BP and blood sugar during these episodes. How were the readings.

It felt like I was going to pass out as I was preparing to play a golf shot. I don't have diabetes or a heart condition , a current blood pressure reading is 146/66 and pulse 52, I did'nt check it yesterday. I have had eye trouble for the past week and was using Brolene a few times a day.

Red eye is a symptom which occurs when the superficial vessels of the eye becomes congested due to any pathology or when a vessel bleeds under conjuctiva called subconjuctival hemmorhage
It may be painful or painless
Commom causes include conjuctivitis, keratitis, acute congestive glaucoma, acute irridocyclitis, episcleritis, scleritis , subconjuctival haemmorrhage , foreign body, corneal ulcer , hyphema, allergy
So many infections of eyelids, cornea, sclera, uvea can cause red eye.
This symptom needs eye examination under split lamp and checking of IOP.
Dizziness may be assosiated with any of the above
A painful eye with ptosis and dilated pupil globe down and out signifies intra cranial aneurysm often and should be investigated.
Gabapentin has also side effects of dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, fatigue also with side effects of blurred vision, double vision, irratibility and dry eye ( dry eye can also lead to red eye).
Istin is also commonly assosiated with dizziness, headache, palpitation, flushing, nausea also visual disturbances including diplopia are also common
Brolene eye drops are used for minor bacterial infection of eye and eyelid.
