What Causes Dizziness With Normal Pulse Rate And BP?
Question: Experienced a couple episodes of lightheadedness and a type of brain fog. The episodes happened about 12 days apart.
I've been dizzy once, but the feeling is not really one of spinning or movement. BP is okay, no orthostatic hypotension. Pulse fine. No SOB, chest pain or headache. No numbness or tingling in my extremities. No nausea. Vision is unchanged.
Appetite is normal.
Hx: spinal stenosis with chronic lower back pain. 2007 exercise induced (lifting something too heavy) ileac artery dissection (resolved without intervention)
6'3" 220# active 37 years old. Male
This feeling is really hard to articulate, as I have absolutely no other physical complaints.

Brief Answer:
Sounds like simple partial seizures
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I think I would recommend a EEG for you for sure.
This may be onset of a partial seizure and is best caught early.
The MRI brain along with it may help.
Simple partial seizures may present with nothing more than sensory symptoms.
Antiepileptics may be needed, and you will need to meet a neurologist for this prescription drug.
Note: EEG and MRI are normal in almost 50-60% people with seizures. So if the reports are normal, you should not relax till you are evaluated by a neurologist and appropriate medicines are initiated..
I hope that helps
Please feel free to ask a follow up query
Best of luck

I forgot to mention that I recently experienced bilat tinnitus. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Seizures still need to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
In that case, a ENT cause should be evaluated. Unfortunately that cannot be done online.
In any patient I was seeing directly at my clinic, I would suggest a tablet called Vertin or vertizac after I had performed the ENT examination. These would have helped with the ENT cause. And thereafter I would have suggested evaluation for the partial seizures. As I said before, partial seizures can occur with temporary sensory symptoms, including tinnitus.
Best of luck
