What Causes Dizziness With Pounding Sensation In Head?
Question: For approx. 4 years I have been experiencing dizziness that is not really common. I have had extensive testing and have had vertigo, menieres disease and things associated with my ears excluded. For most of that time it was a 24/7 problem. In the past year or so it has seemingly decreased, but in the past three weeks have gained in occurrence rapidly. If feels as if my brain is spinning around in the top of my head with a pounding sensation. I have not had headaches much with this though. I have had CT scan, MRI's, Balance testing, physical therapy to help with symptoms, etc. No doctor has been able to tell me what is wrong. I am beginning to have these episodes with increasing frequency all during the day and night except when I am sleeping. It does not keep me awake. What in the world could possibly be causing this?
