Question: I have brief dizzy like spells, I feel like there is pressures in my ears and I get a dizzy spell, it only lasts about a second. but it keeps coming back. I have had them for a few days this time. I used to have them a few months ago, however it eventually stopped. I do have depression and anxiety. I have recently switched my pills from setraline, to welbutrin, I have only been taking the new pills for about 5 days. I have also been having panic attacks (they started before I switched pills) is this all related to my mental health or could there be something else??

Brief Answer:
Dizzy spells is a very common side effect of Welbutrin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Dizzy spells is a very common side effect of Welbutrin usage. Side effects can be present at the beginning of the treatment and after few weeks should gradually disappear.
If the previous episode of dizzy spells has appeared at the beginning of Sertaline usage, this is also very characteristic.
Welbutrin is a medicine which should be used if classic therapy (which was Sertaline) does not help. Panic attacks and anxiety is most likely the reason why this medicines were switched.

Anxiety treatment is sometimes very hard and complicated. It should be regularly monitored by a psychiatrist. I suggest you to consult yours and ask him about current symptoms and possible side effects of Welbutrin.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
