Brief Answer:
Moles need to be investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome
I am Dr V XXXXXXX I am Dermatologist and have assessed your concerns.

In a case like the one stated, the mole should be examined and possibly subjected to histopathological examination for accurate analysis as the changes on the surface may not be true representative of the underlying cause.

Your doctor is likely to take down history and conduct examination by observation, palpation and check if the lesion needs to be excised. The excision usually is a simple procedure under local anesthesia and the defect heals fast in most cases.

I would suggest you to take up the suggested approach as moles can be easily dealt with if early changes are managed professionally. My best wishes to you as well your friend.

Please let me know if I can be of further help
