What Causes Dry Cough With Occasional Bits Of Sputum?
Question: I HAVE HAD A DRY COUGH FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. WHEN I COUGH HAD ENOUGH I GET SMALL BITS OF FLEM AND THEN I FEEL BETTER TEMPORARILY. IT ALSO AFFECTS MY SPEECH.

Dry cough with occasional bits of sputum indicates that the secretion is thick and is causing irritation of respiratory passage inducing cough. This is best treated by making those secretions serous and breaking down of thick secretions.
you can take tab. MUCOLITE containing dextromethorphan, one tablet twice daily for a week, and drink plenty of liquids.
