Brief Answer: Get your coagulation profile done Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for the query. Though there can be many reasons for dry crusted blood in the nose but as you have had cardiac stents, the chances are that you are on anti platelet drugs. There can cause some amount of bleeding and nose is a frequent site for this. Please consult your doctor and get your coagulation profile done. Otherwise, some eczema or crusting in the nasal vestibule or anterior septum can lead to such symptoms. Application of lubricating ointment like Neosporin helps in making the area soft and clear and the symptoms will improve. If the symptoms do not improve, please consult an ENT and get the area investigated. Feel free to ask another query. Regards
