Brief Answer:
I recommend to start corticosteroids and antihistamines

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that her symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.

I would recommend to consult with the allergologist for a careful physical examination and perform some skin tests and allergy blood tests to find the cause of her allergic reaction.

A routine blood test, kidney and liver function tests and blood electrolytes are necessary to exclude other possible causes that may mimic this clinical scenario.

If the allergen(a substance which causes the allergic reaction) is identified, you should avoid contact with it.
Other treatments like immunotherapy may be useful when it is impossible to avoid contact with the allergen.

In the meantime I would recommend to start therapy with corticosteroids and antihistamines.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Iliri
