Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They are known and well documented side effects of this medication, Seroquel (quietiapine). They occur in about 10% of persons who take this medication.
We generally do not anticipate that these side effects would cause unbearable symptoms that would call for a possible consideration to switch you on to a different medication.
What we would do from here moving forward depends greatly on how well you think this drug is helping for the reasons it was prescribed and whether these symptoms are fair as a price for these benefits. In all, if the symptoms are more concerning than the benefits you get from this drug, I will suggest that we consider stopping and switching you to a different medication that can help with your disease condition without causing so many undesirable symptoms to you. In truth, there is no medication without a side effect. We simply weigh the benefits and the inconveniences to make the final decision.
In all, it is possible and normal to have these symptoms. If they are too much to bear compared to the benefits you are receiving fro this medication, I will suggest that you talk to your doctor and consider switching to a different drug.
I hope this helps. i wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do fee free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
