What Causes Dryness And Darkness In Skin While Using Depiwhite And Triwhite Cream?

Question: Hi sir.I am 26 years old male.I was using skinlite for 6 months.I used skinlite cream for lightening. When I came to know abt side effects.I stopped it.then I met dermatologist he gave depiwhite and triwhite cream and also had chemical peel once.since 8 days I am applying both creams but my skin gone little dark and dry.please give me a better option to make my skin white.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

These prescribed creams are known to cause dryness .

Sometimes in few sensitive individuals ,hyperpigmentation may result instead of depigmentation.

To guide you further, I would like to know the areas, where you applied the cream and if possible upload images.

I apologize for the delayed response owning to my work schedule.

I have worked through your images.

You possibly seem to have drug induced hyperpigmentation.

This is a drug related side effect.

All you need now, is to stop applying al the creams and allow normal rejuvenation of skin.

I advice you to go for application of moisturizers alone for 3 months.

Once the skin recovers, you can think of Laser skin lightening procedures.

Hi sir, I jst want to know one thing.Does chemical peel tend to cause dryness on my face since its peeling.And also cosmalin 2 or depiwhite can be continued further to improve my complexion.kindly reply me sir.if I have to moisturiser. What shld I go for?

Chemical peels can cause dryness of the skin.

It's important to stop Depiwhite and Cosmolin since both agents can cause drug related side effects like hyperpigmentation.

I advice you to have moisturizers like LAKME peachmilk moisturizer , which vcan largely rejuvenate your skin.

Once the dryness and pigmentation settles down ~3 months, further management can be carried out.
