Actually, folliculitis is infection of the hair follicles usually be bacteria such as staph or fungal agents which often comes after shave or when hair falls off. Dryness or irritation or itchiness or redness are often symptoms that can occur when you have this infection. This could also be due to fungi infection especially when dryness is the main symptom.
So yes, you could apply fluconazole cream or oitment to it (i.e if actually fungi is the cause). I often treat this by simply prescribing some steroid creams such as betamethasone 0.05% cream to most of my patients. After examining if I suspect it is bacterial infection, I just provide topical antibiotics.
Maybe you could get a doctor to have a look if you are opportune, if not, you can apply the antifungal oitment on it.

Can i get those over the counter. And a specific name. The sympoms i get is jyst dry and itchy. When i shave im good once the hair startd to grow back its hell. I use veet to shave you think maybe that could be the problem

If you are suggesting yeast or bv its not went to the doctor and im clean. And thr part that itches is underneath, not where nikini line is or ontop

Yh outside the vagina. Im starting to think thats what i have. But out side is nit irritated because i dnt get any. Discharge or anything. But i have rub some antifungal cream on it and also i have made an appointment with a gyno. Vrcause this have been happening threemonths now went to the doctor and i found out that i had bv got treated then was clean but this never go away i even took diflucon pill for two days but nothing happen is it possible that it is yeast but not on the inside but incthe outside but is just dry and itch amd irritant?

If you read my post earlier you would have noticed that I did mention a fungi skin infection. Yeast is a fungus that can grow on skin and cause irritation. It must not affect your vagina. The oitment I mentioned (diprolene glycol) earlier will help with this. If you can go to a pharmacist, you can procure that then apply. It will be hard for me to tell exactly what caused the lesion without seeing it, that is why you will need to see a doctor who can examine it and prescribe specific medication.

Ok i rub some antifungal monistat cream on it. Will that help until i see the doctor sat. Is it possible to to take a pelvic exam and it comes back neg and u still have yeast infection on the outside or the pelvic exam will detect both inside and outside
