What Causes Dryness And Lacerations On Foreskin Of Penis?

Question: Hi
I am a 58 yo male, visiting the US. I have an issue that my foreskin has gone very dry and small cuts. I have tried using a 1% hydrocortisone cream and now an intense moisturiser but it does not appear to be clearing up.
I have also used a course of amoxicillin to see if it was a UTI that I am prone to having.
It's not easy to visit a doctor as I am travelling between XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX I do not believe I should have an sti.
Can you suggest an over the counter from the pharmacy/drugstore solution that I could use to clear this up.
Many thanks

Likely to be fungal Balanoposthitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare-Magic

Going by description of your symptoms , possibility of fungal Balanoposthitis needs to be considered. Exact diagnosis will depend on good clinical examination. It would be very helpful if you could provide me clinical photograph. You can either upload the picture in upload report or alternatively mail to YYYY@YYYY with subject line being " Attention Dr Shobha Deepak"
In the meantime apart from using Hydrocortisone , addition of anti fungal like Clotrimazole will be helpful.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Thank you. I have sent you photos as requested and started to use clotrimazole 1% in addition to taking the amoxicillin 500 mg twice daily for a further 2days to complete 5 days of treatment.
As you can see from the pic the small cuts are not healing.
Thanks for your attention.
