Brief Answer:
it is of utmost importance to stop the application of the cream.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the problem on face. After throughly analyzing the complete query I can make out that you have the condition known as steroid abuse and dependence.

Propysalic ointment contains steroid based contents. As you have applied for a long term do it caused steroid dependence. It means the face will remain settled if you apply steroid and will be showing withdrawal effect on discontinuation.

In your kind if cases it is of utmost importance to stop the application of the cream. Meet a dermatologist who can judge the condition in person and prescribe you medications as per the clinical judgement.

My all best wishes for your healthy skin.

Brief Answer:
n my patients I prefer to take off the side effects by tacrolimus ointment

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Welcome back and apologies for replying bit late.

Your kind of condition is quite commonly encountered in my day to fay practice. In XXXXXXX it 8 quite common to find steroid abuse and dependence due to easy availability of these kind of creams and ointments.

Accordingly your kind of cases are manageable. It depends on extent of dependence of the steroid according to clinical criteria for the time period of full recovery.

In my patients I prefer to take off the side effects by tacrolimus ointment and certain antihistamines in varying doses.

You will be alright if you would take a proper dermatologicaly supervised treatment.

My all best wishes for your healthy skin.
