What Causes Dryness, Itching And Small Acnes On Skin?
Question: some of my skin part has become too dry and it creates itching with small acnes.

I have read your question and I have noted your concern.
You seem to have Xerosis with keratosis pilaris (keratotic follicular bumps) which can present as a nutmeg crater like feel/ rough feel to skin. Xerotic skin INDUCES itch as well..
I would like to confirm this possibility by having a look at it, therefore I request you to kindly upload an Image so that I will able to guide you better. You may upload an Image either at "Reports Section" on the right side of the query page .
I would also like to know additional queries like,
1.the distribution i.e affected areas
2. usage of a moisturizer?
3.duration of existence of this skin problem.

The usage of moisture is twice a day and since 03 months I have this.

Eczematous dermatitis; application of moisturiser and potent topical steroid and cetrizine
Detailed Answer:
Hi. thank you. I have reviewed the images,
I could see a patch/ area of dermatitis. The patch seems dry, there is redness/ erythema and the skin seems thickened as compared to surrounding normal skin. This picture is suggestive of chronic eczematous dermatitis, which is more common in dry/ xerotic skin. If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you intense usage of moisturising cream preferably a urea or ammonium lactate based moisturiser e.g Amlactin Or Ureativ cream. These ingredients are hygroscopic i.e holds and trap moisture inside skin as well as exfoliating which helps shed scales/ dead skin. In addition you must also use a potent topical steroid e.g clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily, 15-30 minutes after applying moisturiser, for 2 weeks, specifically for the dermatitis/ eczematous patches. Topical steroids are prescription medications and should be used under supervision of dermatologist and only for the prescribed duration.
I would also suggest an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine, once daily in evening, for symptomatic relief from itching.Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts
