What Causes Dryness Of Urethra And Urge To Urinate?
So most of the time urethra (penis hole) is dry, when I hold my penis in my hand. but when I press it a little I see some water like liquid. is it a discharge by anychance or its normal. (I also have urge to pee a lot). I have rashes on scrotum which my doctor says is fungal infection and Using lotriderm for that. But after some rough masturbation and using lotriderm I also felt some burn like feeling on glans penis. Can anyone please tell is it a herpes by anychance, does it causes discharge?
I suggest a likely possibility of Urethritis
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have taken note of your query and I have also understood your concern.
I suggest a possibility of urethritis i.e inflammation of urethra. Clear discharge and urgency are indicative of that.
Does'nt seem like herpes. Genital Herpes usually presents with sores/ erosions rather than with urethral discharge.
STI's like gonorrhea & chlamydia are common causes of urethritis. Infection is acquired by unprotected sexual contact with an infected partner.
Gonorrhea usually causes purulent discharge whereas Non-gonococcal urethritis/ chlamydia usually causes clear discharge.
Is there any history of recent sexual contact?protected or unprotected?
Regards
And when doctor too look at my penis there was no discharge what can I do in this type situation. I would also like to know can it be caused by lotriderm cream or excessive and rough masterbation. How can I cure it with going to doctor?
Urethral secretions could be due to sexual arousal
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
In that case, these slight amount of clear urethral secretions could also be caused by sexual arousal and therefore there is nothing to worry.

Add an Oral antifungal; antifungal dusting powder for maintenance
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I suggest an Oral antifungal e.g once weekly fluconazole 150 mg for 4-6 weeks in addition to the topical antifungal.
I would like to change your topical antifungal to either Miconazole nitrate Or Econazole nitrate cream, twice daily for 4-6 weeks.
Thereafter, in order to prevent a recurrence you must regularly use an antifungal dusting powder, in the groin folds.

Stop lotriderm; rather use Oral antifungals and plain topical anifungals
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
You have been using lotriderm cream for over a month.
This cream contains a potent topical steroid i.e betamethasone dipropionate 0.05% in addition to the topical antifungal i.e clotrimazole 1% cream.
Potent topical steroids such as this i.e betamethasone dipropionate 0.05% are not to be used over the delicate skin of glans and scrotum as they would cause skin thinning, and atrophy of the already delicate genital skin. Thinned out skin would look red and inflamed.
Therefore, I suggest you to discontinue this cream.
Therefore I had suggested you to use oral antifungals and plain topical antifungal cream in my previous reply.
Another reason for this feeling of irritation on glans and urgency of micturation could be that may be you are using soaps, antiseptics etc to clean the delicate skin of glans and this area.
Soaps can get through urethral meatus and cause irritation, burning, urgency.
