What Causes Dull Pain In The Lower Back?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have a very full heavy sensation in my pelvic area. I also have a dull achy pain in my lower back on the right side. It is worse when I am up moving around, and seems to get better when I lay down with the heating pad on my back. I DO weigh too much (180 on a 5'3" ) and I am working on that, last week started a diet (down 5 lbs). Sitting up is also somewhat painful....the recliner and the bed are fast becoming my best friends. I went through menopause early, last period was Dec 2014.. I am 47 this month. Also in Dec 2014 I had a TOT sling procedure done for incontinence, but I have still had some leaking since. I have had 3 pregnancies and 3 children from those. I think that is all my info. Any idea what this could be, because it is really troublesome.....
Brief Answer:
Infection either urinary tract or pelvic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
Since it is a dull pain more on the right side of back ,we need to rule out either an urinary infection or stone in renal tract. You have not mentioned about urinary complaints other than incontinence.
If there are no urinary complaints ,it is better to get an ultrasound scan to find out any issues of uterus ,ovaries and other organs.
Hope you are not having fever and vomiting to doubt an appendicitis.Feel free to ask your doubts with more details.
