default
Posted on Thu, 7 Jul 2016
Question: I've been having a dull, achey pain in left lower quadrant. in a way it feel like something's "stuck" in my intestinal tract, but I've also been experiencing loose bowel movements for many weeks. This week I've had to have a b.m. 4-5 times before I leave for work. This week is first time though that I've had the achey feeling.

Brief Answer:
Possible diverticulitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
This may be side effect of medications but also some underlying colon disease as well. I don't think there is emergency right now,try to take probiotics, more fluids and avoid food that bloat . If fever occur, or pain progress es you should do abdominal CT scan to rule out diverticulitis. Wish you good health. Regards
