default
Posted on Thu, 28 Jul 2016
Question: I am experiencing dull pain on my left side and radiating down to to my bicep and even to my hand, I think. It seems to come from my front shoulder, but is sharpest near the center/left of my chest. I am a 50 year old female. And don't really want to go to the emergency room :-( I am also under a great deal of stress right now.

Brief Answer:
I think you need emergency help as soon as possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think you are having a heart related pain. I know it is difficult to go to emergency But this is a serious issue and we can not take it lightly. I would suggest you to take aspirin or Brufen immediately.
Then go to emergency as soon as possible, And get your ECG as soon as possible. If there is ECG change then you might need angiography or angioplasty. Try to go to emergency as soon as possible.
Thanks
