What Causes Dull Pain Under The Armpits?
Question: I have had a dull pain under both armpits. It is not going away. I have no lumps.
Brief Answer:
Possible muscle strain
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
How long have you had this symptom?
The location you are describing, and that it is under both armpits makes me think this may be due to muscle strain from both arms having been extended forward or overhead. Do you sleep with your upper arms raised up, such as when sleeping on your belly or back? Or have you lifted anything recently?
If any of this applies to you, then rest and NSAID antiinflammatory medication (taken after you have food in your stomach) will help this go away.
