What Causes Dull Pressure In Lower Pelvic Region On Left Side?
Question: I am just concerned about some pressure that I have been feeling on my lower uterus . Its more on the left side, i'm wondering if i could be pregnant. My last period day was April 3rd and I had sexual intercourse with my husband on April 12th. I know it could be too soon for me to find out but that pressure it constant and i also have white milky discharge. Hopefully you can give me some answers

The symptoms you described can be due to a number of causes but pregnancy needs to be ruled out or confirmed , first and foremost especially if you had unprotected intercourse. Diagnosis of pregnancy cannot be established clearly based on symptoms alone. Simple HPTs home pregnancy tests can detect B hcg in urine up to 14 days after conception, so the HPT wont be of much help at this stage. You can go for blood hcg levels after a couple of days which are more accurate and can be detected within a week. Subsequent confirmation via obstetric ultrasound should be done if the blood hcg is positive.
