What Causes Dysfunctioning Of Left Side When Having Cold?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
the original pericaditis of1989 showed a marked deodorization. From 1989, when
i was rehabilitated by physical therapy from paralysis of the left side almost to
normal, i started dysfunctioning on my left side, whenever i had a mild health problem like flu or a cold. usually the stabilization process took a day or two. now, the stabilization process seems stuck for months. neither physiotherapy nor gym seem to get it back to quo ante quod. also i get fatigued easier than
before. 2 hours worth of activity gets me tired for the whole day. about two days ago, i might be candidate for more phychotherapy: in utero my mother received violent kickings in the belly and very violent treatment at two. Can this effect me so radically even at 72????
Recovery varies from person to person
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The malady appears to be very old. We were talking something which started 25 years back. The recovery becomes difficult as years pass. The recovery is measured in terms of activities of daily living (DALY).
Everytime there is cold or any infection it affects the person physically as well as psychologically. It attacks the immune system and recovery is question mark.
At this time (72 yrs) you should keep up your spirits. As rightly said by you need psychotherapy along with regular physiotherapy. We have seen patients who improved on DALY after psychotherapy. It may mean just few things like taking few steps, able to answer nature call, diet and simple sentences. If you had typed such a long question I am happy for it. I see there is a chance of recovery if both psychotherapy and physiotherapy would work.
Hope this helps.
