What Causes Dysuria And Rashes On Penis Post Unprotected Intercourse?
So about one three weeks ago i had sex with a girl. Then condom broke towards the very end and i was exposed for a brief moment. I got tested a week later and the doctors said i was clean. About one week ago i had unprotected sex with another girl (she is clean) and i developed a rash on penis from friction. This started going away, but yesterday i started having trouble urinating. I will try and go but not all of it will come out and sometimes urine will drip. I was also very constipated. I do not think there is any discharge, but the tip of my penis feels uncomfortable and sometimes burns. I have been touching the tip a lot which is also making it worse.
My question is
1. Is it possible that the first std was in inaccurate?
2. Could irritation cause the discomfort during urination?
3. Is this a UTI or an STD?
4. Should i be worried about anything else?
Possibilty of STD can not be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you had near unprotected sex with girl and your STD test done within a week was reported to be negative .
Second time you had unprotected sex with known girl and now getting irritation in urethra discomfort at the tip of urethra ,
In both the situation the sex being unprotected possibility of acquiring STD can not be ruled out unless proved otherwise.
You need to repeat STD test and basic screening tests for HIV done to be rest assured about acquiring either STD or HIV.
The irritation of urethra that you have is due to inflammation of urethra (Urethritis) and need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily .along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
As regards your questions I would clarify them point to point
1) It takes 3 weeks to 3 months after exposure for STD to get established and reported to be positive ,so the first report can not be relied upon with confidence .
2) Yes inflammation of Urethra will cause irritation and burning in urethra.
3) This can be confirmed by doing urine culture and blood test for STD .
4) Take the appropriate medications (Antibiotic) to get cured and practice safe and protected sex in future to avoid mental agony .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

I'm not too worried about the std since the other girl was very certain about her status. Its not that I feel burning or constant irritation when I pee, its more that I can't go all the way and it feel like urine is stuck in the urethra and it causes discomfort. There is occasional irritation at the tip. I heard constipation sometimes causes urinary retention which is why I put in in my original question
1. Does this still match uti symptoms?
2. Could it be anything else?
3. Will not being constipated help me clear this up
Symptoms are due to Urethritis and unlikely to be due to Constipation .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .Your urinary symptoms are mostly due to inflammation of urethra and unlikely to be due to constipation as you think it to be .
1) Urethritis and UTI symptoms are identical in presentation and can not be differentiated separately
2)In view of history of unprotected sex it is likely to be related to the unprotected sex .
3) You can certainly take stool softener and expect it to get resolved .
Thanks and Regards.
