Brief Answer:
hormonal changes; anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Sorry for the late response.
Swelling and inflammation of gums can be seen during periods. The reason suggested for this that gums have good numbers of estrogen receptors. The hormonal changes during periods can thus cause sore gums.
Burning sensation on top of ear is most probably due to anxiety. The symptoms itself is not suggestive of any systemic illness.
As anxiety can cause multiple vague symptoms, this can be one of them.
You can try cold compresses over ears and observe if this relieves your symptoms.
Continue with your medications for anxiety.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
