What Causes Ear Fullness And Difficulty In Swallowing When Diagnosed With Thyroid Nodule?
Question: Hello I have swallowing difficulty. One side ear ringing. Ear fullness.
Especially when eating it get worse.
My thyroid ultrasound said I have a small nodule on the right lobe. 4.6mm
Hypoechoic soft tissue mass vascular it's and texture Normal. The doctor said to monitor it for 6 months. That it is not serious.
What is your opinion.

If you have a thyroid nodule you need to have a fine needle aspiration (biopsy) of it. It is not that common but some thyroid nodules are cancer. I would not wait on that.
If the ENT can not explain your difficulty swallowing you should see a gastroenterologist or a speech therapist for further evaluation. Speech therapists are specially trained to evaluate swallowing difficulties.
