What Causes Echo Hearing In One Ear And Severe Dizziness While Walking?

Question: Hi, my mother who is 60 and diabetic has started hearing echo in one ear and is unable to walk without feeling severely dizzy. She can not walk without assistance, and she vomits at a short assisted walk to the restroom.
Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised and get examined by a physician
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Dizziness in diabetes may be due to vestibular neuronitis or posterior circulation stroke involving brainstem.
You need to get examined by a neurologist for any other features suggestive of stroke like speech difficulty, eating/swallowing difficulty, visual loss, sensory loss over face or body.
For vertigo you can take Cinnarizine or Betahistine.
Anti vertigo exercises can also be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
