Question: these days i am facing problem of static charge very regularly. is this the sign of any problem?

when I touch anything, I feel a electric shock with a loud sound. frequency is of like once per 30 min

Brief Answer: Spinal cord damage Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing back. The shock you have could be due to abnormal nerve impulse secondary to spinal cord damage. I would suggest you to get a MRI scan of the neck. This will help to identify the problem which is causing the symptoms in you. I recommend you to get the scan done at the earliest. The condition could get worse if not treated early. If the scan is normal then you may have to get nerve conduction studies in the limbs involved. Do consult a neurologist for the same. Regards,
